New Tenure-Track Orientation Faculty Registration

Welcome to Texas State!

We are so happy you have chosen to continue your academic career here at Texas State University. Faculty Development provides an orientation for all new faculty hired on the tenure track. This takes place once a year in August.

Attendance is expected for all new tenure-track faculty and those who were previously in a non-tenure track position and hired this year to a tenure-track position. This required session is in addition to attendance at New Faculty Orientation, and focuses on familiarizing you with policies, procedures, and practices that will help you be successful in progressing toward tenure. This orientation session takes place in August every fiscal year.

If you are a new faculty member on the tenure-track starting this upcoming fall, please fill in the below form for the New Tenure-Track Orientation (NTTO) that will take place on Tuesday, August 19th, 2025 from 8 a.m. - 12 p.m. Location TBD.

 

You will receive the option to download the event to your calendar after completing the registration below.
