Dr. Rachel Davenport
Senior Lecturer, Biology
College of Science and Engineering
Dr. Rachel Davenport will work to develop a study abroad program in physiology and medicine. It will take place in London, taking advantage of its historical roots and myriad museums, activities, events, and academic lectures. It will serve majors in pre-health, health sciences, nursing, and other related majors.
Dr. Moira DiMauro-Jackson
Senior Lecturer, World Languages and Literatures
College of Liberal Arts
Dr. Moira DiMauro-Jackson will participate in leadership training to become an ambassador for promoting internationalization and globalization on campus. She will investigate ways to institutionalize internationalization on campus, with the goal of enriching, diversifying, and expanding the student experience at Texas State.
Dr. Laura Ellis-Lai

College of Liberal Arts
Dr. Laura Ellis-Lai will work to improve the marketing for her study abroad program in London and Cambridge as she tries to reach more Texas State students, advising staff, and families.
Dr. Geneva Gano

Dr. Geneva Gano will investigate strategies for fostering collegial and effective cross-university relationships between faculty, staff, and administration, with the long-term goal of implementing them at Texas State.
Dr. Jennifer Irvin

Dr. Jennifer Irvin will work to develop a strong, effective, formal mentoring program for faculty at all ranks.
Dr. Cassandra LeClair

Dr. Cassandra LeClair will work to develop a series of training for professional development focusing on establishing a more profound sense of connection to self and others to combat burnout.
Dr. Young Ju Lee

Dr. Young Ju Lee will host a College of Science and Engineering Symposium to highlight Data Science Research conducted at Texas State University and build collaborations among faculty.

In exploring how taste makes place, Dr. Colleen C. Myles inquires whether and how cultural responses to (rapid, dramatic) environmental change can be conceptualized as “fermenting sustainability.”
Matt Painter

Matt Painter will seek to create a dynamic network of Texas State graduate program directors which will enable individuals to ask questions, quickly receive answers from their peers, and share operational best-practices with the ultimate goal of enhancing communication, recruitment and graduate enrollment.
Dr. Rebecca Raphael
Professor, Philosophy

Dr. Rebecca Rafael will shift their research away from biblical studies and toward medical humanities by gaining new background knowledge, identifying new conferences and journals, and reshaping their research agenda.
Dr. Anadelia Romo
Associate Professor, History
College of Liberal Arts
Dr. Ana Romo will apply design principles to her responsibilities at Texas State to shift them in more meaningful directions and to help others do the same. Her project goal is to learn design principles, apply them to her own career, and then bring that knowledge back to the university through a workshop that she plans to offer through Faculty Development. Her goal is both to reshape her work life in new ways and to help others think about how they might reshape their paths at the university as well.
Dr. Kristen Tooley

Dr. Kristen Tooley’s research project uses a listening and story-telling exercise to determine whether people adapt their pausing patterns to that of a heard speaker.
Dr. Megan Trad
Professor, Radiation Therapy
College of Health Professions
Dr. Megan Trad will work on developing a bridge program between ACC and the College of Health Professions at Texas State University to assist with the transition between the two entities with the long-term goal of obtaining an NIH Bridges to the Baccalaureate research training grant.
